Weddings at Willowmere House

Your day, done beautifully

We host weddings that feel considered, personal and genuinely well run. No two are the same.

The experience

What a Willowmere wedding feels like

A wedding at Willowmere House is a calm, unhurried experience for everyone involved. We only host a small number of weddings each year, which means every couple receives the kind of attention that simply is not possible at a larger venue.

From the moment you enquire, you work with a dedicated coordinator who knows the venue inside out. They will guide you through the planning, handle every supplier conversation and be there on the day to make sure everything runs exactly as it should.

How it works

From first enquiry to the morning after

01

Enquire and visit

Get in touch and we will arrange a personal viewing. There is no better way to understand what Willowmere House feels like than to walk through the door.

02

Choose your package

We will talk you through all five packages and help you find the one that fits your day. Every package can be adjusted to suit your plans.

03

Secure your date

A 25% deposit holds your date. From there, your coordinator takes over and the planning begins in earnest.

04

Plan together

We meet several times in the lead-up, finalise your menu at a tasting, and coordinate everything with your suppliers so you do not have to.

05

Your wedding day

Arrive, breathe and enjoy it. The team handles every detail from the moment your guests arrive to the moment the last dance ends.

Three licensed spaces, each with their own character

Whether you choose the light-filled Garden Room, the botanical drama of The Orangery or the sweeping grandeur of The Manor Hall, your ceremony will be held in a space that has hosted moments like this many times and never quite loses the feeling of them.

We work directly with your registrar and, for religious and celebrant-led ceremonies, with your officiant, to make sure the service runs exactly as you have planned it.

Menus that change with the seasons

Our head chef works with local producers and what is growing well each season to create menus that feel rooted in time and place. The food at Willowmere is one of the things guests talk about long after the day is over.

Every package includes a menu tasting for two, usually six to eight weeks before the wedding, where you sit with our chef and shape the meal around your own tastes.

Stories from our couples

Amelia & James wedding at Willowmere House

September 2023

Amelia & James

When we visited Willowmere House for the first time, we had already seen six other venues. James had been politely noncommittal about all of them. The moment we stepped into The Orangery, he turned to me and said, "This is it." We were engaged, we had a venue and the sun was shining. It felt like a very good omen.

Sophie & Daniel wedding at Willowmere House

June 2024

Sophie & Daniel

We planned our wedding in eight months, which most people told us was too short. The Willowmere team told us it was entirely manageable and then proceeded to prove it. The day was calm, beautiful and so well run that Sophie forgot to feel nervous, which was the thing she had been most worried about.

Maya & Theo wedding at Willowmere House

January 2025

Maya & Theo

We chose a winter wedding partly because Theo loves the particular stillness of January and partly because we wanted something a little different from the usual summer celebrations. The whole house was lit with candles and there was a fire in every room. Our guests arrived and then refused to leave, which felt like the best possible compliment.
