Each room at Willowmere House has evolved over the centuries into something that feels genuinely irreplaceable. We do not try to make them all feel the same. Instead, we help you find the combination that works for your day and your guests.

The Garden Room
The Garden Room feels like a living, breathing extension of the grounds. Floor-to-ceiling windows draw the outside in, flooding the room with natural light throughout the day. Wildflower arrangements, original stone flooring and simple, considered furnishings make it one of our most sought-after spaces. It works equally well as a ceremony room in the morning and an intimate dining space in the evening.

The Orangery
With its soaring glass ceiling and year-round botanical planting, The Orangery has a warmth and drama that feels effortless. Candles catch the light here in a way that is almost impossible to replicate, making it a favourite for evening receptions and wedding breakfasts alike. The adjacent terrace opens onto the formal gardens, perfect for summer drinks and photographs.

The Manor Hall
The Manor Hall is a room that commands attention without demanding it. Original oak panelling lines the walls, a sweeping staircase provides a natural focal point for the room and a fireplace large enough to stand in anchors the far end. The space is completely flexible and can be dressed in any number of ways, from long banquet tables to round dining arrangements.

The Courtyard
The Courtyard sits at the centre of the estate and has a natural intimacy that larger spaces can rarely achieve. Enclosed on three sides by the house, it feels sheltered and private. A retractable canopy means the English weather need never be a worry, and string lighting overhead creates an atmosphere in the evening that guests consistently call magical.

The Dining Room
The most intimate of our event spaces, The Dining Room is a beautifully proportioned room with original cornicing, a warm palette of dusty rose and sage, and a long dining table that seats up to 60 guests in one elegant arrangement. It has its own private entrance from the courtyard and a dedicated service area, which makes it ideal for smaller weddings that want the full Willowmere experience without the scale.

The Bridal Suite
The Bridal Suite is a calm and beautiful space to spend the morning of your wedding. Located on the first floor with views across the parkland, it comfortably accommodates the whole wedding party for hair and makeup, with a large dedicated preparation area, natural north light and a dressing room that was designed with mornings like this in mind. Champagne service is included from the moment you arrive.
