Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with Willowmere House Weddings ("we", "us", "the venue"), located at Ashfield Lane, Little Brington, Northamptonshire, NN7 4HS. By placing a deposit, you agree to these terms in full.

These terms apply to weddings and private events. Full contract terms are issued separately at the time of booking and supersede any general information on this page.

2. Reservations and deposits

A date is considered provisionally held only once we have confirmed availability in writing. A date is considered fully reserved only once a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total package price have been received.

The remaining balance is paid in two equal instalments as set out in your contract, with the final payment due no later than 30 days before your wedding date.

3. Cancellation

Your initial deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel your booking:

• More than 12 months before the event: no further charge beyond the deposit
• Between 6 and 12 months before: 50% of the remaining balance becomes payable
• Within 6 months of the event: the full remaining balance becomes payable

We strongly recommend that all couples take out comprehensive wedding insurance at the time of booking to protect against cancellation, adverse weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

4. Guest numbers

Final confirmed guest numbers must be provided no later than eight weeks before the wedding. Changes to guest numbers after this point may not be possible and may incur additional charges. Minimum guest numbers apply per package as detailed in your contract.

5. Suppliers

All external suppliers must be approved by your coordinator and must hold appropriate public liability insurance. Details of all suppliers must be provided at least four weeks before the wedding. We do not permit external catering teams.

6. Conduct and damage

The client is responsible for the conduct of all guests during the event and for any damage caused to the venue, its contents or grounds. We reserve the right to charge for the cost of any damage beyond normal wear and tear.

7. Force majeure

In the event that we are unable to host your wedding due to circumstances beyond our control — including but not limited to fire, flood, government-mandated closures or other force majeure events — we will work with you to reschedule to an alternative date at no additional cost where this is possible.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
