Private viewings
Come and see it for yourself
Every Willowmere wedding starts with a viewing. Personal, unhurried and completely without obligation.
What happens during a private viewing
A personal tour takes around one hour and covers the whole estate. Here is how it typically goes.
1
Welcome and introduction
You will be met at the entrance by a member of our wedding team — not a sales coordinator, but the same team who would be with you on the day. We begin with a cup of tea and a chance to tell us about your plans.
2
Tour of the ceremony spaces
We walk you through every licensed ceremony space: The Garden Room, The Orangery and The Manor Hall. You will see them in their natural state — not dressed, not staged — so you can picture your own day clearly.
3
Reception spaces and the grounds
From The Courtyard to the formal gardens and parkland, we show you the full estate. Most couples find this is where a decision becomes clear — the whole picture matters as much as any individual room.
4
Accommodation and the bridal suite
We show you The Bridal Suite and any available bedrooms. Overnight accommodation is central to most of our packages, so you will understand exactly what your guests would experience.
5
Package conversation and your questions
We sit down and talk through the packages in detail, discuss your budget and answer every question you have brought with you. There is no pressure and no obligation. We want you to leave with absolute clarity.
What to ask during your viewing
The couples who get the most from a viewing are the ones who arrive with questions. Here are the topics worth covering — but do not feel limited to this list.
- Which ceremony space would suit your guest numbers and style
- How the day flows from ceremony to reception across different spaces
- Food and menu options, including the tasting experience
- Accommodation — who stays, when they check in, what the morning after looks like
- How many weddings run at the venue on a single weekend
- Which package fits your budget and guest list most closely
- What optional extras are available and how they are priced
- Supplier policies — photographers, bands, florists, external caterers
- Deposit structure and payment schedule
- How your coordinator works with you between booking and the day
Everything you need to know before you visit
Duration
Private viewings typically take around one hour. If you have a long list of questions or would like to spend more time in the spaces, we are happy to allow more time — simply mention it when you book.
Suggested days and times
Viewings are available Monday to Friday, 10am–5pm, and on selected Saturday mornings. We recommend avoiding times when a wedding is taking place — your coordinator will confirm available slots.
How to prepare
Bring a rough sense of your guest count, a preferred date or season, and a list of questions. If you have seen other venues, we welcome that comparison — it helps us explain where we are different.
Getting here
We are about 15 minutes from junction 16 of the M1. Parking is on site. The nearest train station is Long Buckby, with services from London Euston in around 55 minutes. We are happy to arrange a taxi from the station.
Tell us when works for you
We will confirm your slot within two working days. All viewings are personal and by appointment only.
